“My primary goal is always to help the customer. If there’s something I can do to help, I’ll do it.”
When asked to describe her role at Plastics GPR, Trécy-Ann doesn’t hesitate for long. She likes to borrow an expression she first heard at GPR: that of the “Director of First Impressions.” An image that perfectly reflects her day-to-day reality.
Whether it’s an order, a question, a follow-up, or an urgent request, she acts as a point of contact between customers and the company’s various teams.
Planning, shipping, invoicing, production—her work leads her to collaborate with several departments to find the right answers and the best solutions.
What does she enjoy most? The fact that no two days are ever the same.
“I can make a plan the day before, but when I arrive in the morning, everything depends on what’s waiting for me in my inbox,” she explains with a laugh.
Behind every response sent to a customer often lies a significant amount of coordination work. According to her, one of the least visible realities of her job is precisely the ability to juggle multiple requests at once, manage priorities, and keep several files moving forward simultaneously.
To excel in this role, Trécy-Ann believes that certain qualities are essential: authenticity, patience, and above all, a genuine desire to help people.
“You can’t fake being kind to people. You have to enjoy helping others and enjoy finding answers.”
This desire to support others is reflected throughout her career journey. Although her studies led her into fields as diverse as nursing, optics, dental care, and the Canadian Armed Forces, a common thread connects each of these experiences: human connection.
Explaining, reassuring, supporting, and answering people’s questions is what has always motivated her.
Since joining GPR in October 2025, she has been particularly struck by the warm welcome she received from her colleagues and by the spirit of collaboration that exists throughout the company.
“You often hear that a company is like a big family. Here, you can truly feel it through people’s actions.”
This closeness between teams and the accessibility of the people around her are among the aspects she is most proud of today.
And if you happen to run into Trécy-Ann on your birthday, you might be in for a surprise. Behind her professionalism lies a very unique passion: she loves celebrating her colleagues’ birthdays with a personalized touch. An impromptu dance, colourful accessories, or a humorous little performance—everyone gets their special moment.
A way that is uniquely hers to do what she loves most: build connections and make people smile.
